The International Pickleball Academy Pros exists to give the game one clear, affordable standard for how it’s taught — starting in the Philippines, then across Asia.
The problem
Pickleball is exploding across the Philippines. Clubs are growing fast, and demand for lessons has never been higher. But many of the people teaching have no formal credential, and too often they teach the way they play, not the way a beginner learns.
The international programs that do offer certification charge U.S. prices, plus annual membership fees, no matter where you live. For many great Filipino coaches, that's simply out of reach.
IPAP was built to fix both problems: a real, structured standard, at a price that makes sense locally.
Founder
Ken is a certified pickleball instructor with credentials from the PPR and IPTPA, two of the largest instructor certification bodies in the world. He has spent years coaching players and working with the pickleball community in the Philippines, including clubs in Manila and Cebu.
He built the IPAP curriculum by blending the hands-on, mechanics-first approach of one program with the structured, classroom method of the other, so instructors get the best of both.
The vision
We're starting with a founding group of instructors in Manila, Cebu and Mindanao. From there, IPAP will grow into Vietnam, Thailand and across the region, with the same standard everywhere the game is played. That's why "International" comes first in our name.
